Within days of the attacks on America, these youngsters from a local day care gathered in front of the Bellwood Borough Municipal Building and prepared to join our mayor in a public recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance. While unable to appreciate the grave situation thrust upon our nation just days before, their learning process is nevertheless in progress along with millions of other people across our great land, young and old alike. Hopefully, they’ll participate and contribute as adults in a better, safer world in the not-too-distant future.
