The photo of the back porches of the Bell House Mansion offers another area of major work that was completed in the rehabilitation of the building. The bottom two windows to the left had been totally bricked shut decades ago. The bricks were removed and windows reinstalled. Very possibly the bricks taken from these spots may have been used in the replacement of a non-original doorway on the opposite side of the home.
