Us The Bell House Mansion as it looks in mid-summer. If inspected closely, this photo reveals some of the extensive repair work performed on the building. To the left of the near corner an additional door had been added decades ago when the structure was divided into apartments. Bricks and mortar were matched as closely as possible and a window was installed as originally designed (see related photo). The room affected is the parlor, which is graced by the most ornate of eight original fireplaces, most of which have been closed up to prevent the loss of heat in the colder months.
