Us Just down over the edge of the old railroad bed from Point Lookout this rock outcrop cuts a formidable profile amid the Pennsylvania hardwoods. It appears to be held in place by a 12-inch diameter tree, but in reality has only forced the once-tiny sapling around its immovable presence. The severe steepness of the terrain allows patches of moss to thrive where the leaves fail to congregate and choke out its existence. Back to Point Lookout Scenery Home
